    I can personally vouch for how hard it is to photograph these at times with the dynamic range available in a digital camera…but this is why they invented HDR 🙂
    The Saguaro flowers are even harder to catch without blowing out the highlights.

    I didn’t notice at first but that is a cute beetle crawling toward the pollen or nectar. (Cute because his larva will not be eating the roots on my turfgrass!)
