On vacation until next week, so another photograph without written accompaniment today. This was taken last year in New Brunswick Botanical Garden‘s “Flowery Brook” area, a stream that flows into the Madawaska River.
Stunning photo, I love the movement captured, the color and distortion.
I took this photo of a bright green alder leaf resting on the bottom of a sprited stream on its way to Puget Sound (WA): Art of Nature

O Autum,laden with fruit,and stained
With the blood of the grape, pass not, but sit
Beneath my shady roof; there thou mayst rest,
And tune thy jolly voice to my fresh pipe,
And all the daughters of the year shall dance
Sing now the lusty song of fruit and flowers.

Looks just like an old silk print. Love to have that as a dress!

Beautiful photo! Thank you for sharing it. And thank you Elizabeth for reminding me of Blake’s Autumn musings…
Happy Equinox (or Mabon) to you all!
