Great photo. It certainly looks surrealistic.

Thanks for another stunning photograph. My first impression was that the structures resembled something by M.C. Escher.

What an engrossing rabbit hole I’ve been down this morning….the movie was fascinating. Your workshop must have been a great experience. The photo is excellent, congratulations! I think the choices you made in composition, lighting and processing reflect the subject’s romanticism beautifully. The way you put the structure into its context, the viewer’s eye wants to drift off into the hills, and that’s key. In the blog and in the movie, many views of Las Pozas are closer. That’s the obvious temptation because there are so many wonderful abstractions of form to fixate on, but showing a bigger, wider view of the structure in its setting, brings it to life. Bravo!

Love the way the diagonals and verticals offset each other, with the diagonals of the broad leaves echoing the diagonals of the structure 🙂
